The SecureNutrition Knowledge Platform is sponsored and funded by the World Bank’s Knowledge and Learning Council. This Knowledge Platform aims to bridge operational knowledge gaps between agriculture, food security, and nutrition, by offering a space – both virtual and physical – to exchange experiences, to disseminate information, and ultimately to increase coordination, collaboration, and co-generation of knowledge.

SecureNutrition focuses on the following themes:

  • Measurement: How can food security and nutrition be accurately and consistently measured to inform policy and programs?
  • Delivery: How can we deliver interventions through the agriculture sector that will have positive impacts on nutrition? How can we minimize possible negative impacts that agriculture interventions may have on nutrition?
  • Knowledge: What information exists on policies and programs linking food security, poverty reduction, agricultural production, and nutrition outcomes? How can we increase, facilitate and support access to this information to maximize the impact of policies and programs?
