This is the website of the Right to Education project, which aims to promote social mobilisation and legal accountability, focusing on human rights and education. The website intends to popularise the right to education and ensure all relevant actors (education coalitions, NGOs, unions, activists, individuals) have access to up-to-date and nationally-relevant information on advocacy and the right to education.

The site includes a comprehensive country database listing the relevant constitutional provision for education, equality, gender, religion, children, human rights mechanisms, etc. It also contains several tables with the minimum ages for employment, marriage, criminal responsibility and school leaving for every country. It contains links and online versions of the project’s reports. Reports are by UN human rights rapporteurs and include assessments of the right to education component of aid policy and projects
