This project is part of the wider Reflect work done at Action Aid. This project focuses on ICTs and aims to strengthen the capacity of poor people to communicate by providing ICTs they themselves have chosen as valuable and appropriate for their specific context. This involves building the capacity of those people to make that choice. In particular, the project aims to:
- develop a pro-poor model for ICTs in development
- draw and disseminate lessons from the experiences of integrating ICTs into Reflect programmes and processes.
The pilot projects are taking place in Burundi, Orissa (India) and Uganda. The site contains details of the projects, the processes used, contacts for those involved, concept papers and a monthly update on the projects.
