PRCI aims to enhance the influence and impact which policy research has on national and global environmental policy reform. The partners in the initiative, the World Resources Institute, the African Centre for Technology Studies, and the Sociedad Peruana de Derecho Ambiental (Peruvian Society for Environmental Law), will strengthen their complementary capacities for effective policy research. Lessons learned and best-practices will be shared with others in the goal of strengthening the research and outreach capacities of independent policy research institutions around the world.
