The Plan Bleu project works in partnership with UNEP and MAP. By preparing for "integrated developmental plans and a more attentive management of the Mediterranean Sea’s resources", Plan Bleu focuses on a range of issues such as: coastal areas, tourism, energy, climate, population, and financing and coorporation.
The activities of Plan Blue are based on it’s main strategic objectives, which include:
- identify, collect and process useful environmental, economic and social information for decision-makers and other players
- carry out analyses and prospective studies to help to construct future prospects and to strengthen decision-making
- distribute and communicate the products and results in a way adapted to those for whom it is intended.
