Mekong Economics is a Vietnamese company, established in 2001. It emerged from, and maintains strong links to the Masters in Development Economics (MDE) programme at the National Economics University (http://www.welcome.to/neu-iss), Hanoi. Mekong Economics staff are mostly graduates of that programme. Many consultants are MDE alumni or lecturers.
