MIDAS is a national research support service based at the University of Manchester, specialising in on-line provision of strategic research and teaching datasets, software packages, training and large-scale computing resources for the UK academic community.
Datasets available online include: IMF Balance of Payments; IMF Direction of Trade (1948 -); IMF Government Finance Statistics (1971-); IMF International Financial statistics are for 1948-91; OECD Main Economic Indicators; UNIDO Industrial Statistics (3 and 4 digits ISIC, 1963-); UNIDO Commodity Balance Statistics (6 digit ISIC, 1970-). Data is accessed online via the SAS programme.
