Leprosy Review is a medical journal specifically about leprosy. It is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by LEPRA (The British Leprosy Relief Association).
The main aim of the journal is that it should contribute to the better understanding of leprosy and its control. Original papers on all aspects of leprosy, including research are included. In addition, Leprosy Review seeks to publish information of education value which is of direct benefit to the control of leprosy under field conditions, and hence to the individual person affected by it. The journal aims to interpret what is being done in other disciplines, particularly for field workers.
At its own discretion, and under certain circumstances, LEPRA sends free issues of the journal to those in various parts of the world, including doctors working directly with leprosy, who cannot afford the subscription or easily obtain foreign currency, together with selected libraries covering tropical medicine.
