The Institute of International Relations is an autonomous and independent research and teaching institute based within the University of the West Indies. The Institute aims to enhance the understanding of international relations in the Caribbean region. It undertakes teaching and research on international relations in the Third World in general, with particular emphasis on the Caribbean and Latin American region.
The Institute offers diplomas, masters and doctoral degrees in international relations. Subject areas covered by the Institute include:
