Institute for Financial Studies is a private, independent, non-partisan research institute founded in early 1996 by a group of young economists intending to combine economic theory and practice.
The Institute provides a range of financial advisory services to both public and private clients. It also carries out fundamental research on major economic topic. The Institute maintain close partnership with well-known researchers in Russia and abroad.
Research interests of the Institute are focused on the following areas:

- macroeconomic situation in Russia
