Pilot project launched by Internews Network, Panos Institute, and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), to build support for health journalism in countries with the most acute public health crises. Its aims are:
- to document existing programmes to support and improve health journalism
- to raise awareness of the need to build media capacity to address public health issues with critical analysis and professional standards
- to distribute small grants in developing countries
- to solicit additional support from interested donors.
The Partnership is sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and the Open Society Institute.
