Global Institute for Asian Regional Integration, based at Waseda University, is a research and educational centre, which studies issues of regional Asian integration and contributes academically and socially to Asian integration. It also focuses on training researchers and businesspersons who will support regional Asian integration. The Institute supports a cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary field of study that will analyse the political and economic processes of free trade agreements (FTAs).
