The Gdansk Institute for Market Economics is a foundation involved in scientific research and educational activities. It fulfills this mission (support in building market economy in Poland) by observing and analyzing economic processes, formulating postulates regarding economic polity and educating personnel of the financial sector.

Research results are aimed at economic and scientific circles, politicians, public administration, and, above all, the public at large. The results of analyses are published in widely accessible reports or during press conferences.
