Provides information on economic and financial data disseminated by member countries that subscribe to the IMF’s Special Data Dissemination Standards (SDDS).. For each of the 27 subscribing countries whose meta-information is currently shown on the WWW site, information (by type of statistic e.g. consumer prices) is provided on: contact persons for data; frequency of data collection; where the results are published (including electronic and WWW formats); quality of data and methodologies used in data collection; countries’ plans to improve their data dissemination practices in order that they be in full observance of the SDDS by the end of a transition period that ends on December 31, 1998.
