Information products include:
(a) WWW site: includes information on: programmes coordinated by the Secretariat; information of affiliated centres; directories of ongoing social science research and research institutions in the region (see below); publications lists; directory of researchers; training manual on electronic communications; links to related sites (including country-based links to newspapers/journals, research centres), summaries of economic/political situation in countries of the region; full text of Carta de CLACSO newsletter.
(b) Email discussion lists: clacso-inst-l and clacso-acceso-l (see separate entry)
(c) Data base of information on the 117 CLACSO-affiliated research centers; a data base containing descriptions of research projects carried out by CLACSO-affiliated institutions; and, a bibliographic data base of books and serial publications on the social sciences in Latin America. Most information in the three data bases is in Spanish. Users can conduct full-text searches of these data bases via the CLACSO WWW site.
