The Collegium is a unit within Uppsala University in Sweden and provides a link between development research and Swedish development cooperation. It organises seminars and conferences and publish reports and documents on current issues. Key interest areas are:
- cross disciplinary linkages in development research
- the peace process in Colombia
- humanitarian assistance
- democratisation processes
- gender issues
- academic capacity building
- sustainable development
Current staff competence profile includes development studies, anthropology, sociology, agriculture, and psychology. Publications can be dowloaded from the website.
Please note: The Collegium ceased to exist as an independent unit from January 1, 2009. The activities, as well as our personnel, have instead been integrated in the Uppsala Center for Sustainable Development. Follow our continued activities at www.csduppsala.uu.se.
