CivilNet is a cluster of JCIE (see separate entry) activities designed to advance the cause of the nonprofit sector in Asia Pacific and world-wide with a special emphasis on Japan’s own civil society development. CivilNet will stress promoting international cooperation and solidarity among civil society organizations such as philanthropies and grass-roots and other nongovernmental organizations through conferences, exchange programs, studies and surveys, and other creative programs.
WWW includes directories of Asian research organisations and foundations, reports on the development of NGOs in Japan.
