Undertakes research that evaluates the ways in which regulation and competition processes work in markets and organisations in the public and private sectors in developing countries. CRC was established as a Development Research Centre, with funding from the Department for International Development (DFID), within the Institute for Development Policy and Management, University of Manchester.
CRC operates as a partnership between seven internationally recognised research institutions in Africa and Asia to provide research and to contribute to the development of capacity building relating to regulation and competition.
