CESES is a think tank developing the theory, methodology and practice of futures research. The CESES mission is to identify and analyse key developments in the Czech Republic, their impediments and opportunities. Its ultimate goal is to participate in and to inspire strategic, practical applications in Czech legislation and policy development.
To achieve its mission, CESES develops both partial and comprehensive analyses, visions and scenarios of social, economic and political development of the Czech Republic in a broader global, international, security and ecological context.
Research projects include:
- social and cultural cohesion in a differentiated society
- a survey of elites in the Czech Republic
- systematic development of forecasting methodologies
- dynamics of transformation of Czech social protection systems in the context of globalization and European construction
- the third sector and the development of European public policy.
