The Center for Human Rights and Global Justice (CHRGJ) at NYU Law School was established in 2002. It focuses on issues related to the globalisation and social justice agendas, highlighting the links between poverty and human rights, and adopting an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to human rights research. It seeks to place international human rights law in the broader context of the political, jurisprudential, economic, sociological, historical, anthropological and other influences that shape it and determine its impact.
Website includes publications, research reports, details of events and training courses, teaching materials, and links to further resources on human rights.
