This globally networked research programme focuses on the impact of newly dynamic Asian economies – especially large economies such as China and India – on low-income economies. The programme is co-ordinated by the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex.
Strong in academic rigour and primary research, the programme involves close links with policymakers with a view to allowing low-income economies to turn threat into opportunity.
