Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) is an independent, non-government, non-profit organisation committed to enabling women to use law as an instrument of social change and to promote women’s human rights.
APWLD’s objective is to enable women in the region to use law as an instrument of change for the empowerment of women in their struggle for justice, peace, equality and development.
APWLD’s programmes and activities are focused in promoting women’s rights human rights as an analytical and strategic framework of engaging with the legal system to empower women.
