Action for Global Health has been formed by 15 non-governmental organisations and charities and is coordinated by ActionAid international. The overarching Goal of Action for Global Health is increased support from Europe to enable developing countries to make substantial progress towards the Health Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
The partners have established working groups on the following four areas in order to develop policy analysis and debates:
- Health System Strengthening
- Financing for Health
- Gender and Health
- Research and Development
The website provides news and discussion about cross-cutting issues of global health, including health systems, financing, research & development and gender. Relevant publications are also available to download.
