<p>This paper provides an analysis of pneumonia data set shows consistency with current literature of obtaining higher costs in government-owned and higher level facilities. For acute myocardial infarction (AMI), higher costs and higher mortality rates are detected in government hospitals. The paper provides recommendations based on the findings.</p>
