The Africa Regional Sexuality Resource Center (ARSRC), established in 2003, is part of a Ford Foundation five-year grant-making initiative, “Global Dialogue of Sexual Health and Well Being”.

The goal of the ARSRC is to promote more informed and affirming public dialogue on human sexuality and to contribute to positive changes in the emerging field of sexuality in Africa, by creating mechanisms for learning at the regional level.

Website (available in English and French) includes an electronic resource library with search facility and reference and consultation service;open access articles from the magazine “Sexuality in Africa”; a database of sexuality professionals in the African region; a news service; and details of opportunities, events and training courses, including the Sexuality Institute, an annual programme of learning for African sexuality professionals.
