Catholics for a Free Choice is an international organisation dedicated to challenging a monolithic view of the Catholic church, and providing doctrinal alternatives for progressive Catholics. CFFC works internationally with local partners, supporters and sister organisations to advance prochoice Catholic perspectives around the world. Through research, analysis, publishing, and networking, CFFC contributes to international public discourse and education on women’s rights and reproductive health, population policy, gender equality, and sexuality. With the increasing global trend toward fundamentalism, their international work embraces such issues as the future of pluralism and democratic values.
