Statistical database providing users with time series data covering approximately 26,000 economic concepts which show major economic aggregates used in the analysis of economic developments and includes data on the following topics: balance of payments, banking and financial systems, employment, exchange rates, Fund position, government finance, interest rates, international liquidity and banking, national accounts, population, prices, production, and trade. The time series (annual from 1948, quarterly and monthly from 1957) are available for all IMF member countries (plus Aruba, Hong Kong, Netherlands Antilles, and Switzerland). CDROM is updated monthly. Includes: all series appearing on the IFS country pages; all series published in the IFS world tables, except for the daily exchange rates appearing in the Exchange Rate tables; selected series on exchanges rates, money index, export/imports (plus unit value index), balance of payments. Data can be downloaded in various ascii and spreadsheet formats.
