Infoteka proposes to develop an electronic communication network (FeMail) of women activists, NGO’s and groups working in the former Yugoslavia- Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. This will restore communications links severed by the war; enabling women to coordinate activities, to share experiences and provide cost-effective access to international data banks and independent media. The central objective of the project is to build a network of women who use electronic telecommunication technology to exchange ideas, documents, logistic information and as a forum for debate, organising, campaigns and formulating joint proposals.
