LADARK contains data sets and other information useful to scholars who are doing research on Latin American development. These materials may be freely copied for scholarly research and educational purposes. LADARK is a project of the Program In Comparative International Development (PCID) in the Department of Sociology at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). PCID has a collaborative arrangement with the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Quito, Ecuador.
Data includes: survey and other data from JHU research projects (currently of urbanisation, Cuban/Mexican/Haitian immigrants to USA); full text of working papers from JHU researchers; lists of publications by JHU researchers, syllabi of courses on Latin America at JHU, library resources at JHU links to other Internet resources on Latin America.
