Statistical database on international trade, balance of payments, and gross domestic product. Compiled and distributed by Centre d’Etudes Prospectives et d’Information Internationales (CEPII: see separate entry). Balance of payments data use IMF classification, plus a sectoral breakdown of 10 major product groups, aggregated figures for invisible earnings, capital movements and financial operations: basic data comes from IMF, but has been expanded to cover a wider number of countries (168 in total). GDP data includes data in: current US dollars; volume terms at prices/exchange rates for a base year; volume terms at PPP exchange rates. Trade data covers flows between 46 countries and 7 regional aggregations, and covers 72 products. Data for trade and BOP from 1967 to date; data for GDP from 1960 to date.
