ERA Licensing Scheme enables educational establishments to record radio and television broadcasts for educational purposes without infringing copyright. The ERA licence permits recordings to be made by educational staff, of all broadcast material, (with the exception of Open University programmes, which are the subject of a separate licensing scheme).
