NGO research organisation focusing on the promotion of effective governance, defined as the institutions, processes and traditions which determine how power is exercised, how decisions are taken and how citizens have their say. Current research themes are: (i) building policy capacity; (ii) citizen participation; (iii) accountability and performance measurement; (iv) aboriginal governance; (v) youth and governance; (vi) information technology and governance.
