Database of macroeconomic, social, and sectoral data on African countries and for 20 regional groupings.
Data consists of 35 macro-economic categories and 120 sectoral indicators (for gender, education, health, nutrition, population, agriculture, environment, energy, infrastructure, finance, public sector, private sector)
Data is a time series from 1990 to 1998 (in July 1999 version). Data can be downloaded in pre-prepared briefings in Excel format. Users can select either
- one indicator and all countries
- one country and all indicators (in either the macroeconomic or sectoral grouping)
Also available are:
- the full text of the annual, country specific reports on Special Programme of Assistance Status Reports (detailing Bank and IMF policy and projects for that country, concentrating on adjustment measures, with associated statistical data)
- CAS reports
- Country at a glance tables (AAG)
- Short term estimates (STE)
