MicroSave-Africa promotes the development of savings and other more client-responsive financial services among microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Africa and the rest of the world.

Research Activities

  • Operations Research Activities: MicroSave-Africa is currently committed to conducting 10-12 additional action-oriented operations research studies and 5 case studies during the three-year programme.

      Action Research Programme Activities: Microsave-Africa’s role is to work with 6-8 carefully selected Action Research Partner MFIs on all aspects of the product development cycle. MicroSave-Africa provides its suite of courses:

      • Market Research for MicroFinance
      • Costing and Pricing of Financial Services
      • Planning, Conducting and Monitoring Pilot-Tests
      • Going to Scale course

      MicroSave-Africa also facilitates the provision of its “Institutional Culture Change” course.

By
