The African Conflict Journal (ACJ) aims to serve as a forum to bring together practical, structural and theoretical approaches to conflict analysis and prevention in Africa.

Ultimately ACJ aims to:

  • strengthen and support peace-building and peace-keeping efforts of African states, community organizations, the international community and those seeking conflict prevention and resolution in Africa by providing an online center for understanding, evaluating, expressing and discussing African conflict
  • seeks to promote dialogue, debate and exchange of relevant issues to the well-being of citizens in conflict regions in Africa
  • promotes academic, social, political and policy-oriented transparency in issues and concerns related to African conflict
  • provide professional and thorough information services related to political, economic and social aspects of conflict in Africa.
