CEFIR supports sustainable economic reform in Russia. It employs datasets and modern analytical techniques to build knowledge about key areas of the economy. CEFIR attempts to reverse the brain drain in Russia, strengthening local capacity for research and teaching, through its own efforts and through alliances with partners in Russia and abroad.
