Aims to be a focal point in the use of the new information and communication technologies as a tool for reinventing good governance and will
- assist the transition to electronic government (eGovernment) in the initial instance, and to electronic democracy (eDemocracy) in the long run
- promote good practice, enhance a sharing of learning experiences, dissemination of
information and management of knowledge in electronic government (eGovernment) and electronic democracy (eDemocracy) amongst various human and institutional networks and communities of interest in the Commonwealth and beyond.
