CIDSE is an international coalition of 15 Catholic development organisations, working together with organisations and partners in the South and the North. They co-ordinate a number of development activities including advocacy, conflict resolution, development programmes and development education.
Among the policy areas they are interested in are:

- Financing for Development – including innovative sources of funding
- Debt
- Structural Adjustment/Poverty Reduction Strategies (PRS)
