The Centre of Strategic Planning for Development “DIMITRA” (KE.S.S.A. DIMITRA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 1991 and based in Larissa, Hellas. The aim of KE.S.S.A DIMITRA is the finding of practical and humane solutions, which will constitute the means for a dynamic and lasting action, aiming at the alleviating of human suffering, through the provision of humanitarian assistance and the institution of strategies for the creation of infrastructures, which will contribute towards the social development of the countries in crisis.It is a partner of the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) and it is also registered with the Hellenic International Development Cooperation Department (Hellenic Aid) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
KE.S.S.A. DIMITRA implements programs in Hellas, but also in developing countries of Africa, South and Latin America, as well as countries of Central-Eastern Europe and Asia, such as: India, Turkey, Ecuador, Senegal, Dominica, Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Albania and Yugoslavia.
