The Fisheries Management Science Programme (FMSP) is managed by the Marine Resources Assessment Group (MRAG) to produce innovative and world-class research on marine and inland fisheries management. It is aimed towards sustainable use of the world’s marine resources, recognising the importance of resource management in achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), poverty alleviation, and environmental sustainability.
Research outputs from the FMSP are targeted at fisheries scientists, managers and policy makers in developing countries.
