INCAE is a multinational higher-education organisation devoted to teaching and research activities in the fields of business and economics. Its main objective is to build the capacity of management professionals in Latin America. It has two campuses, one in Costa Rica, and another in Nicaragua.
INCAE focuses on three key activities:
- postgraduate programmes in areas critical for Latin American development
- executive training programmes and seminars
- research projects on competitiveness in the region.
INCAE has two specialised research centres. The INCAE’S Research Center conducts research and edits publications on topics of importance to Latin American managers. The Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) helps leaders in the private, public, and civic sectors in implementing changes and promoting sustainable development.
The INCAE website is available in both English and Spanish, and provides further details about INCAE Masters and executive programmes. The website contains a link to the INCAE library with an online catalogue of the available books, videos and CD-ROMs, a list of the magazines received by the library in printed format as well as access to its database.
