Global Labor Strategies (GLS) is a resource center whose purpose is to assist a wide range of social movements make the connections and develop the strategies needed to function effectively in the global economy.
GLS has chosen to focus initially on five projects. GLS has partners for some and is actively seeking partners for the others. Each of the projects/strategies is a contribution to-and an experiment for-the basic purpose of building bridges across lines of nation, constituency, and organisation.The five projects are:
- Alternative Worker Organisations
- Water, Labor, and Social movements
- US global Corporations in Latin America
- The New Role of China in the Global Economy
