The mission of CEEPA, based at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, is to enhance the capacity of African researchers to conduct environmental economics and policy inquiry of relevance to African problems. It’s secondary aim is to increase the awareness of environmental and economic managers and policy makers of the role of environmental economics in sustainable development. The Climate Change and Agriculture in Africa programme seeks to understand the impact of climate change and establish what measures can be used to mitigate these effects.
The programme’s publications and project details can be found on it’s website.
