HDIP is an independent non-profit Palestinian organization. It is devoted to policy research and planning regarding the Palestinian health care system in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The Institute mission is to:
- Enhance coordination between the different health care providers in Palestine, particularly that between Palestinian NGOs and the Palestinian Authority
- Advocate appropriate health and development policies on behalf of overlooked groups such as women, youth and the disabled
- Build a democratic Palestinian civil society
- Provide information services, evaluations, and training in the areas of health and development policy, and system management
HDIP publications include collection of books, bulletins, and published articles by the managing director.
