The Global HIV/AIDS Initiatives Network (GHIN) is a network of researchers in 21 countries that explores the effects of Global Health Initiatives on existing health systems. Specifically, the network focuses on the impact of World Bank Global HIV/AIDS Program including the Multi-country AIDS Program; the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and The United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
GHIN facilitates comparable work on a number of key research themes including: sub-national scale-up; health systems capacity; and equitable access. It is focusing on collecting evidence of these effects from regions, facilities and services, and communities, in order to inform policy development at national and international level.
Publications affiliated with the network can be downloaded from the website. The website also contains a searchable database of original research on the impact of global HIV/AIDS initiatives.
