NGO aiming to strengthen primary health care, disability services and community based rehabilitation in the South by maximising the use and impact of information, providing training and resources and actively supporting the capacity building of partner organisations. Supports the development of information services in the South, and undertakes consultancy work on request.
Operates a library and information service, open to public on appointment. Related databases include:
(a) Bibliographical database of library collection (some 16,000 entries since 1988) including books, journal articles, grey literature. Records have keywords but no abstracts. Available online via their WWW server: requires an annual subscription (free to those working in developing countries). Also produces an accessions list from database called Ahrtag Update.

(d) Serial holdings. Directory of free international newsletters produced from this database.
