WAJIBU is a journal intended for everyone who is concerned about keeping the African traditions alive and adapting them to the modern way of life. It aims to provide an opportunity for dialogue between people of different backgrounds, traditions and religions for the promotion of peace and understanding and in order to overcome prejudice, narrowness of outlook and intolerance.

Published quarterly, each edition has a number of articles from African, mostly Kenyan academics and social commentators about a particular theme. Articles are available on the website in full-text version with bibliographies, some time after publication.
