Institution for high level research on policy issues, capable of providing intellectual leadership in the search for policies and strategies suited to the needs of Uganda. It aims at enhancing and building national capacity for policy formulation/analysis and decision making. EPRC maintains close contact with Government departments and other clients in addressing urgent problems where practical solutions can be found. It provides the forum for policy debate among academics and professionals and acts as the “think-tank” research institution for policy formulation/analysis and decision making.
